We were incorporated on December 15, 1928 with roots dating back to 1885. We have since grown into one of the largest, independent, full-service insurance agencies in southern Maine, offering home, auto and business insurance as well as employee benefits.
In 2008 two local banks, Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution and Biddeford Savings Bank, joined together to purchase the firm to ensure that the Biddeford/Saco community continued to have access to a locally owned and managed insurance agency.
In 2011, we changed our name from Paquin & Carroll Insurance to P&C Insurance.
In June of 2013 Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution became the sole owner of P&C Insurance. Saco & Biddeford Savings is Maine’s Oldest Bank, founded in 1827.
In January of 2020, we went through a rebranding to strengthen our relationship with our other business lines and to better reflect our core belief: In It Together. We wanted to pay homage to the history of our company, and switched our name back to Paquin & Carroll Insurance.
Josh joined P&C in 2006 after working at UNUM in Portland. He is a graduate of St. Anselm College and Thornton Academy. Josh is the Agency President and Commercial Lines Agent. Josh enjoys the challenges he faces when crafting commercial programs for businesses as well as the fulfillment that comes from assisting his clients when a claim occurs. Hobbies include golfing, skiing and spending quality time with his daughter, son and wife.

Andrea started her insurance career in 1987 where she worked on both the agency and company side of the business. She is experienced in both Personal and Commercial Lines. In 2007 she obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor Designation. Andrea was hired by P&C Insurance in 2004 where she worked as a marketing rep and moved into the Account Executive role in Commercial Lines. She was promoted to Vice President and currently is part of the management staff supervising the Commercial Lines Department. In her free time, she enjoys being at the lake and spending time with her family.

Lynn started working at P&C in June of 1987. She worked in the medical insurance field prior to coming to P&C, and was interested in expanding her knowledge to the property and casualty side knowing that she needed this type of insurance herself. She enjoys helping clients understand why it’s important to have insurance. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, running, knitting and doing crafts.
Dan started in the insurance business in 1988 and has been specializing in the Employee Benefits area for 21 years. He joined Paquin & Carroll in 2004. His deep knowledge of benefits has allowed him to help hundreds of employers create benefit plans that control cost and lower expenses while keeping the plans competitive and attractive to current and potential employees.
Ready to tackle issues and looking at Alternative Funding, Wellness and Claim trends are a few examples of why Dan has retained his clients for many years. In 2014 he received a certificate in Health Care Reform Studies from the American College.
He is a Past President and current member of the Saco Bay Rotary Club. Dan also serves as the current President of the Board for Connection for Kids/Kids Free to Grow. He resides in Saco with his wife and daughter enjoys activities like golf, snowmobiling, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Doug’s insurance career began shortly after the ice storm of 1998. Doug was working as a project manager for a local real estate developer when the ice storm halted building and he was contacted by The General Adjustment Bureau to write property estimates for the local insurance companies. Upon completion of this assignment, Doug was offered a full time adjuster position and completed their insurance school program in Colorado. Doug worked as an adjuster for GAB and Colonial Adjustment until he joined Paquin and Carroll in 2003, as a commercial lines agent.
Doug has continued to work with contractors, investment property owners, and entrepreneurs, helping them with their insurance coverages. He specializes in hard to place risks, contract review, risk transfer agreements and workers compensation alternatives.
Outside of the office, Doug enjoys all of the outdoor activities Maine has to offer, from skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to golfing and biking in the summer.
One of the greatest pleasures of the job is working with startup businesses and helping them achieve their goals. A great insurance agent is a key member of the team right alongside the attorney and banker.
Beth started at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 1985 as a personal lines account Manager, and moved over to Commercial Lines in October of 1992. She enjoys spending her personal time with her family.

Bonnie started working with P&C Insurance in December 2014. She has been in the insurance industry since November 2000, mostly working in personal lines. She feels that P&C is a great place to work with its family atmosphere and open door policies. She feels that making the move to P&C Insurance was a great one, and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else (well, maybe on a warm beach). Of course, the beaches make the southern Maine area just a fabulous place to live. She spends her spare time quilting, reading, walking the beaches, binge watching television series and sharing time with family and friends.
Buffy has been working at P&C Insurance since March 6, 2015. Her goal is to meet/exceed the needs and expectations of her customers.
Prior to joining P&C, she worked as an Accounting Administrative Assistant and as an Ophthalmic Technician.
She is certified in Medical Billing & Coding, and holds a Medical Assistant Certificate.
Carol started work with P&C on July 1, 2011 when they purchased the Ruben Agency. Prior to that, she worked for the Ruben Agency for 24 years as a producer for both personal and commercial lines. She was also the office manager and bookkeeper. Prior to that, she worked 13 years at the Biddeford Agency until Bruce Ruben bought the agency in July, 1987.
She has enjoyed working in the insurance industry for the past 43 years because she likes the interaction with both her new and current clients. She is a commercial lines producer/account manager and finds that commercial lines is always an enjoyable challenge.
In her spare time, Carol is very active, going to the gym and walking every day. She likes to travel, do jigsaw puzzles, and loves to read.
Christine joined Paquin & Carroll in 2019. She enjoys getting to know our clients and helping them understand their insurance and why it is important. She have lived in Maine all of her life. She enjoys spending lots of quality time with her 3 grandchildren.
I was born and raised in the geographic center of the State of Kentucky, Danville. I obtained my B.A. from College Wooster in 2003 and started selling insurance at my family's agency. My Grandfather and Father Started Gash Fitzpatrick Insurance where I began my career. I worked in the family business until 2017 when my family and I moved to Maine.
Before joining Paquin & Carroll as a Commercial Account Executive, I worked for a local agency. My goal in this role is to live up to P&C’s stewardship to the local community. I’ve always believed that insurance is the backbone of the country because we’re involved in almost every aspect of business. If we’re doing our jobs well, then we can protect the jobs of everyone else in our community and be successful.
We fell in love with Maine and wanted to settle here. It’s hard to beat the coast, mountains and lakes of Maine - and the city life is close by if you crave it. I have 3 kids; two girls ages 9 and 6 and our boy, 19 months, who I guess you could say is our only Maine-ah. In the summer, we enjoy riding our bikes down to the beach, or hiking the various trails in the area. We’ve visited State Parks and soaked in the natural beauty of Maine, which allows my wife and I to share an engaging perspective of where we are in the world with our kids.
Dawn joined the Paquin & Carroll Team as the Office Administrator in 2002 and went back to her ”Insurance Roots” 10 years ago when the Employee Benefits Department expanded.
Dawn enjoys making insurance as painless as possible for her clients and eliminating as much stress as possible for them.
Outside of the office Dawn enjoys spending time with Family and Friends….and she believes 80’s music truly does make everything better.

Dwayne joined P&C in 2020 after working at AAA Insurance Agency in Nashville, Tennessee as a marketing representative. While in Tennessee, he acquired his CPCU designation in order to expand his knowledge of the industry and better serve his clients. Dwayne and his wife love spending time with their children and grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, golfing, and cross-country skiing.
Kelli started working at P&C Insurance in March 2017. Prior to P&C Insurance, she worked at CIEE for 14 years, managing a student travel health plan for international exchange students. She is enjoying working with so many local businesses and learning about all our community has to offer. When she’s not working at P&C, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, or tinkering on woodworking projects. She also enjoys participating in sprint triathlons and road races.
Kristen began working at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in July 2021. She brings 15 years of experience in Life and Disability insurance to P&C. She has lived in Maine her whole life and enjoys working with local businesses and helping clients. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening and hiking.
Lisa is a native to Biddeford. She's been in customer service for the past 30 years in banking at various financial institutions or as a receptionist in local offices. She likes getting to know new people, helping them and her former clients. Outside of the office, she has a husband and 3 daughters. She enjoys spending time with family, her friends, sports, and traveling.

Lynnsey was hired by P&C Insurance in 2008, to work in the Personal Lines Department. Lynnsey enjoys earning a client's trust, explaining why various insurance coverages are important, and helping clients find policies which meet their needs and budget. Lynnsey, who has lived in Maine since 1999, enjoys living in the community she works in. When not at P&C Insurance, Lynnsey is often at her children’s sporting events cheering them on.
Nicole was born and raised in Southern Maine and is a graduate of Thornton Academy. At the age of 20, she moved to Florida where she began her career in the mortgage industry. After 4 years, she earned the opportunity to transition into the insurance industry in 2007. She began working for an agency where she earned her Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. After 9 years as a Florida resident, Nicole decided to return to her Maine rooter to be closer to family.
With over a decade of industry experience, she's had the privilege to work in personal lines and commercial lines insurance which has allowed her to provide clients a thorough understanding of insurance needs while reducing risk exposures.
In her personal time, Nicole enjoys cooking, spending time with family & friends and travelling.
Patti started at P&C Insurance in December of 1993, after working at Dunkin’ Donuts for 6 years prior. She started off as a file clerk and worked her way up to Receptionist, where she has been for the past 20 years. She has enjoyed working with great people over the years.
She enjoys working for her clients and helping them with their insurance needs. Over the years she has had some amazing clients walk through the office doors, and she is thankful for their continuous support.
She has a great family, loving husband of 25 years, two wonderful kids and a beautiful granddaughter!
Phil joined P&C Insurance in 2016. Prior to P&C, Phil has 6 years’ experience as a Property and Casualty Insurance Producer in both Commercial and Personal Lines as well as an additional 8 years’ experience as a Multi-Line Insurance Adjuster. He enjoys meeting and helping both existing and new clients with coverage questions they may have.
Phil is very active in the community holding leadership roles in the local Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Football Officiating Boards.
Phil is a big sports fan. When he isn’t watching a game, you may also see him on the town finding and trying new foods and restaurants with his friends and family.
Phil has his CIC designation and is working towards his CRM designation.
Raina has been with P&C since 2013. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1998 as company underwriter and agency account manager. She enjoys providing personalized service to her clients, and making an impact on her community. Outside of work, her hobbies include gardening, music, and crafts.
Robyn joined Paquin & Carroll Insurance in July 2021 after working at Progressive Insurance as a Claims Adjuster since 2020. Prior to that, she spent five years with Emery Jensen Distribution, a wholesale division of Ace Hardware managing vendor accounts for local hardware and paint stores. A Maine native, Robyn graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and later earned her M.B.A. in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University. In her free time she enjoys spending time by the water, hanging with her dog Jaxon or finding new trails to walk and mountains to hike.
Prior to starting her career at Paquin & Carroll Insurance in 2022, Takara attended Southern Maine Community College for Social Work and worked as a Behavioral Health Professional for several years. Down the line, she began her career in banking, which led to an interest in insurance. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with friends, going bowling and spending time with her two cats, Chicken and Chico.
Tom joined P&C as a Commercial Lines Account Manager after working in financial services and teaching high school History and Economics. He is a 2010 graduate of Thornton Academy, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley University, and his Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Tom finds satisfaction in being impactful for his clients by allowing them to focus on their business instead of the risks that come with it. Outside of work, Tom enjoys running, golfing, and is an avid reader.
Tori started at P&C on January 1st, 2013. Before that, she worked for NEBA Group (New England Business Association) in Saco for 7 years as an account executive before P&C bought the business. Prior to that, she worked for the Amy Alward Agency (Allstate) for 5 years writing property & casualty.
She enjoys working with the variety of different people and businesses, helping them with their insurance needs.
Her personal interests include hiking, snowshoeing and just being outside, and spending time with family and friends.
