We are a locally owned independent insurance agency based in southern Maine. We work with several highly rated insurance carriers and together we will find solutions to meet your requirements.

We are available to help you review your insurance at your request. We recommend that you review your policies on an annual basis and no less than every 3 years, and we will help you do that. Our agents will listen to your needs and help find solutions to address your insurance coverage requirements at a competitive price. Additionally, should you ever need to place a claim, we provide our customers with staff dedicated to working with claims adjusters on their behalf. This allows you to focus on what matters most during your time of need.

Company History
We were incorporated on December 15, 1928 with roots dating back to 1885. We have since grown into one of the largest, independent, full-service insurance agencies in southern Maine, offering home, auto and business insurance as well as employee benefits.
In 2008 two local banks, Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution and Biddeford Savings Bank, joined together to purchase the firm to ensure that the Biddeford/Saco community continued to have access to a locally owned and managed insurance agency.
In 2011, we changed our name from Paquin & Carroll Insurance to P&C Insurance.
In June of 2013 Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution became the sole owner of P&C Insurance. Saco & Biddeford Savings is Maine’s Oldest Bank, founded in 1827.
In January of 2020, we went through a rebranding to strengthen our relationship with our other business lines. We wanted to pay homage to the history of our company, and switched our name back to Paquin & Carroll Insurance.
