Company History

Incorporation

P&C Insurance was incorporated on December 15, 1928 and has since grown into one of the largest, independent, full-service insurance agencies in southern Maine, offering home, auto and business insurance as well as employee benefits.

In 2008 two local banks, Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution and Biddeford Savings Bank, joined together to purchase the firm to ensure that the Biddeford/Saco community continued to have access to a locally owned and managed insurance agency.

This unique partnership has played an integral role in our growth. In 2011, we changed our name from Paquin & Carroll Insurance to P&C Insurance.

Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution

In June of 2013 Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution became the sole owner of P&C Insurance. Saco & Biddeford Savings is Maine's Oldest Bank, founded in 1827.

We have offices in Biddeford, Kennebunk, and Westbrook to serve you.
